Member Announcement A dedicated third-party liability scheme, built for BMAA members

Dear Member, In response to member feedback, the BMAA has worked closely with our insurance partner, Air Courtage, to develop a third-party liability insurance scheme designed specifically for our members. We first introduced the scheme at Popham, and we would like to thank everyone who registered their interest. Since then, we have refined the cover with valuable input from a small focus group of members. We are pleased to confirm that the scheme is now available to every member who requires their own third-party liability insurance.

Other insurance policies are available, and we always encourage members to compare their options. Having developed this scheme hand in hand with Air Courtage, we are confident it offers genuine value while maintaining robust protection for you, our members.

Cover to suit the way you fly

Option 1 Individual cover The cover follows you, the member, whichever aircraft you fly.   Option 2 Shared aircraft cover The cover stays with the aircraft. Ideal for syndicates of up to eight members, with the cost shared between you.

• Choose your limit. A base of £2,500,000, with the option to increase to £5,000,000. • Competitively priced. For individuals or for syndicates sharing the cost. • Instructor cover available. For a small additional surcharge.

Backed by experience The scheme is underwritten by AXA XL, one of the world's leading insurance groups, giving the BMAA every confidence in the protection available to members. Air Courtage has partnered with FFPLUM, the French national microlight federation, for more than 22 years, and brings deep experience in microlight insurance.
