The UK CAA has awarded the BMAA Wings scheme PROUD Status. (CAA Pilot Recognition for Operational Up-Skilling and Development).
In their recognition the CAA say "The CAA really wants to encourage all private pilots to find the time to acquire new skills and complete additional training once they have obtained their licence other than their biennial flight check and the BMAA Wings Award Scheme has demonstrated that it offers an achievable way in which to gain experience across a multitude of disciplines in both a professional, enjoyable and constructive manner."
