Flexwing Instructor Bursary

In recent years, there has been a decline in the number of instructors teaching on flexwing microlights. To encourage more instructors, we are offering to part-fund a course for a flexwing instructor.

What We Offer

  • All bursaries are discretionary and subject to an offer being made.
  • The applicant is responsible for funding the remaining course fees.

Pre-Course Requirements

  • The applicant must hold a current pilot's licence and the licence must include a Microlight Class Rating. If your licence is NPPL it must be without Operational Limitations.
  • You must have flown at least 100 hours as pilot in command of an aircraft, at least 40 of which must have been in Microlights.
  • You must have flown for at least 5 hours as pilot in command of the type of aircraft to be used for the course (that is Weightshift, Fixed wing or Powered Parachute not particular aircraft model.)
