March 2024

WITH storms arriving more frequently than London buses or my bills, I’m surprised any of us have done any flugelling at all in the past month, so well done to the nine hardy souls who’ve spotted a brief respite from gales, hails, cats, dogs and raining frogs, girded their loins, screwed their courage to the sticking place, grabbed their flying jackets and headed out the door with a cheery cry of “Carpe diem!”

As those of you studied Latin at school will know, that means “Seize the fish!”
