Men of steel, I salute you! I may have learned in a draughty AX3 and until recently flown a Thruster with free air con, but these days I’m a wuss who swans around in a Foxbat with a heater. So I doff my flying helmet to the happy handful of flexwing heroes whose entries grace this month’s comp after they risked hypothermia for the greater glory of MF. At the going down of the thermometer, we will remember them, for they shall grow cold, as we that are left do not.
