I DON’T know about the rest of you, but here in sunny, rainy, sunny, rainy and so on ad infinitum Northern Ireland, the weather’s been so changeable that finding a decent day to go for a trundle in the Thruster has been a bit like picking a winning lottery ticket.

So well done the nine of you who not only got aloft, but found the time to take a pic for the photo comp while you were at it.

Anyway, with spring well sprung, a glorious summer of flugelling can only be around the corner. Trust me; I’m a journalist.

Sun, fun and snow, by Jenny Thompson. “Flying our Quik GTR to Juan Espadafor airfield from Linares airfield over the<br>Sierra de Huetor, looking across the valley to the Sierra Nevada mountains,” said Jenny, who was with husband Richard.

Wet wet wet, by Malcolm Orr. “My Skyranger Swift on the apron at Eglinton Airport, Londonderry after a flight <br>from Hilltop airfield. It looks like the aircraft is sitting on water, as the apron was very wet,” said Malcolm.
