a chance to win a one hour trial flight 

The draw for the BMAA 2019 Raffle was made at 1300hrs on September 2nd. 

The draw was made on behalf of the BMAA by Brenda Haller a local shop owner in Deddington who runs "Dickinson Real Deal" .

The BMAA is offering three one  hour trial flights as prizes in a draw. Tickets for the draw will be available at events attended by the BMAA throughout August 2019.

Tickets cost just £2.

Three winning tickets will be drawn on Monday 2nd September from a maximum of 1,000 tickets sold.

The prizes are a one hour trial flight with a microlight school chosen by the winner from the schools listed on the BMAA web site. The cost of the flight will be paid by the BMAA directly to the school. There is no cash alternative.

By entering the Lottery, all participants confirm that they have read and agreed with the terms and conditions of the draw, important elements of which are set out below.

 General:

  • Tickets must not be sold to or by those less than 16 years of age.
  • Note: The minimum age for the prize flight recipient shall be 14. Parental consent will be required for a prize flight recipient aged between 14 and 18 years of age.
  • Tickets to the draw cost £2.00 each.
  • Each ticket will have your unique number on it.
  • When purchasing the ticket you should give your name and contact details, especially to include a daytime contact phone number.
  • You should retain your ticket and keep it safe for verification in claiming any prize.
  • All draws will be made in front of independent witnesses.

Social Responsibility:

An individual may purchase a maximum of 10 lottery tickets. We reserve the right to refuse multiple applications without explanation and the promoter's decision will be final.

Prizes:

The prize is as described on the ticket and on the promotional page of this website.
The winner will be notified by phone and in writing, with the winning name and ticket number being drawn on Monday 2nd September 2019 at the office of British Microlight Aircraft Association, Bullring, Deddington, Banbury OXON OX15 0TT and displayed on our website within 7 days of the draw taking place.
The prize must be claimed within 12 months of the draw date.
In case of circumstances beyond the promoter's control leading to the prize being unavailable within 12 months of the date of the draw, the promoter will attempt to secure an alternative.
There is no cash alternative to the prize offered.

Eligibility:

All participants must be over 16 years of age when the tickets are purchased and tickets must not be knowingly sold to anyone below that age. Proof of identity and age may be requested if deemed necessary at any time in connection with the ticket sales or delivery of prizes.
