Spamfield 2014 - Sandown Airport.
Sandown Airport is the host airfield for the BMAA 2014 Spamfield Microlight Fly-in.
The event will be over the weekend of the 6th and 7th of September with arrivals starting on Friday the 5th.
To assist with planning the event it would help if you can register your intentions by clicking on this link and letting us know on which days you expect to be at the event and if you intend to camp. There are over 240 aircraft registered already with more than 160 camping overnight on the Saturday.

going well with the team from the Hampshire Microlight Club working well with
the Isle of Wight Flying Club. We can tell you that subject to any last minute
hitches (which surely there won’t be):
will be a band and hangar party on Saturday evening, food will be available
will be food available each day from 0600 until 1800 in the airfield café
will be camping available on site
landing fees allow any aircraft multiple landings so after you have arrived and
had a break you can go for a tour of the island, take your mates for flights
and still only pay once
weekend landing fee includes camping
weekend fee includes the entertainment on Saturday night
The fees for
the event obviously favour BMAA members.
A single day
attendance for a BMAA member in his or her aircraft is £10. Non-members £20.
attendance for a BMAA member in his or her aircraft, 2 or 3 days including the
overnight camping and Saturday evening party, is just £15. Non-members £25.
limited and priority will be given to BMAA members registering for attendance
before they arrive at the event.
