Dave Sykes Polar Flight

Following his solo flight to Australia in 2011, Dave Sykes, Paraplegic pilot, has taken off on his next epic flight. This time he is flying a flexwing microlight solo the 5,000 miles to the North Pole and back. This flight has never been attempted before, let alone solo or by anybody in a wheelchair.

Dave departed Rufforth Airfield, York on 22nd March.
