BMAA Staff change

It is with regret that I have to report that Adrian Jones has decided to leave the employ of the BMAA at the end of this year. I’d like to take this opportunity – personally, as well as on behalf of the Association – to thank Adrian for all his time and effort at the BMAA.

Adrian has been with us for 5 years. Many of you will have come into direct contact with Adrian after completion of a kit Microlight, or when modifying or repairing your aircraft. Approval of projects such as these has been his bread-and-butter.

Adrian has also been instrumental in keeping our orphan types flying. The fantastic job he has made of rebuilding his own Shadow will be familiar to many of you. Adrian has taken a keen interest in the deregulation of single-seat Microlights, culminating in this summer’s SSDR Rally, which was his brainchild.

Adrian informs us that his next project is to complete the renovation of his house. We wish Adrian the best of luck with this, and with whatever he decides to do afterwards. We also look forward to seeing him and his Shadow flying around the country over the coming months and years.

Ben Syson

Chief Technical Officer
