BMAA Chairman steps down

BMAA Chairman Rob Hughes is moving abroad to start a new job and is consequently stepping down.

Rob has agreed to work for FAI, the world governing body for air sports, based in Lausanne, Switzerland. See the FAI website for more information.

On giving the news, Rob said "It's been an honour and a privilege to serve as Chairman for the last two years. I shall remain a BMAA member and active supporter in the future as we all work to improve microlighting in the UK.

"My focus moves to international air sports and the promotion of all air sport disciplines. I'll remain a microlighter and look forward to seeing you at an airfield in the UK or even Europe."
