Wootton Bassett is ON !!!

I had a briefing from the Met Forecaster at Lyneham this morning and nothing he said about the weather forecast for the Lyneham/Kemble area, for the time period of the Flypast tomorrow, gives me any reason to cancel the event. Pilots will have obtained their own forecast and made their own decisions on the day.

I will identify an area in which I will be contactable for any queries with a BMAA Flypast and Help for Heroes banner. There will also be some collecting tins available. A lady will have Help for Heroes wristbands for sale and a professional photographer will be on hand to record the day’s events.

A company called Alpha1 Graphics have provided souvenir pod/cowling stickers free of charge for you to collect from the same place.

For those wishing to temporarily increase their MAUW, the AV8 restaurant at Kemble has agreed to open early at 0800 on Saturday.

I wish you all a safe and enjoyable flight to Kemble and memorable experience as we pay tribute to The Fallen and the people of Wootton Bassett.
