The microlight world championships are coming to England!

World class flying by pilots from around the globe. Come and see microlight flying at its very best!

The Opening Ceremony is from 1100 on Saturday 20th August with the first flying tasks at 1400. Flying continues all week with the Closing & Medal ceremony on Saturday 27th August.

There will be a trade show on the opening weekend with many of the traders offering special discounts on their products. The BMAA Simulator and Information stand will be waiting to help you. Come along and have a look, mix with the pilots and learn what it takes to be a world class microlighter. 

Entry: Free for all BMAA members and also friends of microlights! There is no charge for spectators during the event.

By car: Popham will charge 3 for parking. There are no other charges.

By air: normal Popham landing fees are applicable; see their website herePopham will be very busy during this time; make sure you contact Popham for PPR if you intend to fly in.

Camping: Popham offer camping; see their website for details. Unless you are closely associated with a competitor, you will not be able to camp on the WMPC2016 camping ground. Those with a close connection will be able to buy camping at 10/night.
