She performs and flies beautifully. She has been kept fully rigged in a dry and well ventilated hangar. 409kg. TT 380 hours.Electric Start. Permit until 06/10. She comes complete with Landing Light and Kingpost aerial.Also wired for Icom A3 Via Microavionics interface. Mods complete and signed off. In addition She will be sold with P & M Panniers, However, this Mod is still to be applied for (I have never needed to use them)Also comes complete with transportation, prop and spat covers. Superb example of this mark,having only 177 engine and airframe hours.Finished in unmarked metallic silver with contrasting black and white wing and red piping around the seat covering.Built in Sep 05, has been meticulously maintained ever since.This model has disc brakes fitted along with air-foiled struts,65 litre tank and all analogue instruments. Accessories include two head strobes,micro-avionics interface and radio.P&M covers as well as panniers are also included.Condition is as photos unlike other aircraft which use older pictures in order to disguise its true appearance.This is probably the best example you will find so if you are seriously interested please call.Permit runs to Sep 10.Thanks for looking.
N/B A lot of people keep asking why I am selling the aircraft so soon after I purchased it. The reason is I have purchased a Tanarg due to it having a lot more room for my 6ft 4in frame and not because it has any faults, quite the opposite, it is faultless |

The aircraft was involved in a ground accident about 3 years ago when I hit a chain link fence after an aborted go around. It went back to mainair for a full rebuild (insurance paid) and came back flying and looking much better that when it went in, with many new parts fitted (incl new pod)

I bought this 462 as a spare in case anything went wrong with the 462 fitted to my old Quantum; Whilst parts are currently still coming through ok, who knows for how much longer! I''ve since sold that aircraft and have a 912 powered machine, hence no longer want a spare 462.
It has done 439 hours total, and was rebuilt with a replacement crank at 315 hours (so about 120 hours ago). The original logbook is with it. It has been heavily soaked in 2-stroke oil and turned over every week or so to keep it oiled.
It comes as a complete ready to use unit with gearbox carb, airbox, exhaust, rads, pull start and even the top and bottom engine mounts from the XL-Q it was removed from.
Anybody got a light SSDR project on the go that wants the best 2-stroke ever made.....
£575 delivered within 30 miles of SK23, or 75p for each additional mile. That''s half the price of a new crankshaft for a complete motor...

G-CEBM 4 year old GT450 912S 340 engine and airframe hours.
Lovely machine, flies beautifully with typical GT handling i.e. light, responsive and trimable from 55-80 mph with straight and level speed of just under 100.
Brilliant touring machine, it has flown to France, Germany, Czech Republic and Poland without missing a beat.
The instrument panel is the larger ‘square’ type fitted entirely with analogue instruments consisting of: Compass, ASI, VSI, altimeter, fuel, RPM, dual EGT, CHT, oil temp and pressure gauge. See photos for the layout as it is.
Lynx radio/power interface and landing light built-in.
A factory leaning device is also fitted, allowing regularly attained fuel figures two up to be as little as 7 litres/hr at 55mph or 9 litres/hr at 70mph.
The aircraft is in great condition, but as with all second hand airframes that have travelled, there are some small cosmetic blemishes such as; leading edge plastic flaking (common to type) and exhaust discolouration’s (see picture). Don’t be put off though, she still looks great, especially after her recent polish, so come and see her for yourself!
All SB’s up to date with M228 (exhaust straps) being carried out by P&M.
Baton bungees replaced early Feb ‘10.
Permitted until August 2010.
Based in Gloucestershire and kept fully rigged in hanger.
